Full Diagnostic Assessment
Dyslexia assessment is a comprehensive process designed to identify the presence and extent of dyslexia in individuals. It typically involves a combination of standardised tests, observational assessments, and interviews to gather a complete understanding of the individual's reading, writing, and language abilities.
The assessment usually begins with a detailed background questionnaire, which captures information about the individual's educational history, family background, and any existing concerns regarding literacy skills. Following this, standardised tests are administered. These usually take around 3 to 4 hours.
Post-assessment, a detailed report is provided which outlines the findings, diagnoses (if applicable), and recommendations for support strategies. This report can be immensely beneficial for educators and parents, helping them to implement effective teaching methods and accommodations to aid the individual in their learning journey.
Overall, a rigorous dyslexia assessment is a vital step in facilitating better educational outcomes and ensuring that individuals receive the support they need to thrive academically.

Tutoring
My tutoring services provide a personalised support that caters to the children’s unique learning needs.
I focus on developing essential skills in reading, writing, spelling and comprehension, this can also include maths.
I understand the challenges these learners face and I foster a supportive and inclusive environment so these children can thrive and achieve. I work on confidence and embracing their differences to enable them to celebrate their different learning styles. This is the best bit of my job seeing the children grow in confidence and self-esteem throughout our sessions. This all ultimately leading to improved academic performance and a more positive educational experience.

Face-to-Face Full Diagnostic Assessment - £600 (£50 discount if you have or had tutoring with myself).
Exam Access Arrangement Authorisation for Schools - £100 per student or daily school rate can be negotiated.
Face-to-Face Tutoring Session (50 minutes plus a 5/10 minute consultation after each session) - £40
Face-to-Face Group Tutoring Session available on request.
